>> My name is Meghan Joiner, I'm Associate Director of Schedul and Event Services, here at Rowland's college. And on a daily basis I work with faculty, staff and students for reserving any space needs they might have on campus as well as helping them with their resources, coordinating A/V, furniture setup, working hand in hand with catering to make sure all those sorts of things are taken care of. So their events run smoothly. I work on student events, so whether they need a study room for their fraternity or sorority or if they're having a large philanthropy event on campus. I work with faculty members, you know, breakout classes all the way to large conferences that they are planning, and staff members for events you might think of such as Howling Howl reunion, graduation, the whole gamut of events on campus. A day looks like. I typically work 8:30 to 5, normal college hours. I, you know, am very in tune with my emails and phone calls. I have a computer software system called EMS that I work with on a daily basis. I run through the event request on that site, confirming them or denying them if they can't be confirmed. Following up with people if they need to book a new event, or if they need to change details of their event and that's what I normally do on a day to day basis. If it is an event day I'll be seen running around campus, checking on sites, making sure that everything is running smoothly.
